About this role:

You will be working on the TV channel websites of ProSieben and Sat.1 used by millions of users every month. Together with the team, you will be working on the publishing API, which is the interface of their backend services. You will be responsible for the quality and testing of their TV channel CMS and you will integrate QA as part of the product development lifecycle. You will write test plans and acceptance criteria for new stories.

In this role you will:

• Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
• Create hands-on automated and manual test strategies
• Be responsible to create the QA processes to make sure their features are thoroughly tested and can be shipped as fast as possible
• Together with the team create, write and execute all kinds of manual tests for their platforms
• Ensure that the acceptance criteria are accurate, clear, and well defined and convert the acceptance criteria into automated tests
• Drive quality improvements in an agile and continuous-learning environment

Your essential experience:

• You have 3+ years of experience with different testing techniques such as UI and API testing, automated testing (desirable), and TDD strategies
• You have a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• You have hands-on experience in testing larger applications
• You are able to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• You know how to efficiently do multi-device-testing on web browsers
• You love to share your testing experience with the development team
• You have an agile mindset, a well-structured working style, and a strong team and problem-solving skills
• You have a very good command of English language
