About The Role:

As a Senior Automation QA you help prevent shipping defects, accelerate delivery and improve quality in their leading customer-engagement product as part of a cross-functional team, directly contributing to feature development and maintenance. You are responsible for designing and implementing test automation practices in close collaboration with engineering and product. You share a passion for high-quality software and strong engineering principles.

Responsibilities:

• Build and/or grow the existing automation framework, developing new automation tests (functional, end-to-end, performance) and tools for their frontend, backend APIs and services.
• Ensure that shipped features are tested and meet customer requirements
• Prepare test cases based on product requirements, update regression suites
• Enable engineers to design and implement tests in an efficient way by providing them with the right tools, frameworks, and infrastructure.
• Partner with engineers to build and maintain tooling for test development, automation and release processes.
• Evangelize test automation best practices to the entire engineering organization.
• Mentor junior engineers both technically and culturally.
• Guide teams to improve code maintainability.

Requirements

• CS degree or equivalent.
• Problem-solving mindset, self-starter, passion for quality.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in test automation and infrastructure.
• Knowledge and experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, and/or Python, ability to write scripts and small tools.
• Proficiency with Selenium, XPath, Cucumber, TestNG, Postman
• Git knowledge.
• Experience with Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins or other).
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
