We are seeking a talented Senior Backend Developer to become a valuable member of our partner's dynamic team. Our partner's product is a leading Retention Cloud platform with over 2000 global customers, including Gojek, Electronic Arts, TED, and many other renowned brands.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems that meet complex requirements.

The Impact you will create: 

• Write server-side scripts and APIs that will be utilized by front-end engineers and other microservices
• Optimize servers for speed and stability, implement security structures, and generate reusable code libraries
• Design and implement large-scale distributed systems and analyze and debug performance issues across distributed systems
• Work with the product team to decide on requirements, estimate delivery dates, and document technical details for feature development

Experience and skills you will need: 

• Experience with algorithms, data structures, and coding with Java
• Solid experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience in analyzing and debugging performance issues across distributed systems

Good to have:

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, and AWS
• Experience working with distributed systems such as Kafka, Hadoop, and cloud-native services
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Vue.js
