As part of the role you will:

• Implement, maintain, and test embedded software for intelligent automation systems with a focus on fieldbus systems, industrial Ethernet, and strict real-time performance
• Contribute to technical specifications for new products
• Develop embedded software and concepts based on real-time operating systems
• Review and document code, utilizing peer-review tools
• Design and debug firmware
• Support qualification and certification of the products

What you bring:

• Proven expertise and practical experience in embedded systems programming and a solid background in real-time systems
• Practical experience in embedded firmware design, development, debugging, and testing
• Excellent coding skills in C/C++ and programming experience with ALM tools
• Good knowledge of IDEs and software development tools
• Good know-how of embedded hardware (ARM development boards, Single-Board Computers)
• Experience with Python is considered an advantage
